Energomontaż-Południe S.A. has been chosen by Alstom Power Systems GmbH to carry out work at the GKM Mannheim 9 power plant in Germany and at the Eemshaven power plant in Holland. The Katowice company received word of the news on 1 December 2010.
The total value of the work amounts to 35.7 million euros, the equivalent of about 142.5 million zlotys. The most valuable project, worth approximately 25.4 million euros, involves assembling the pressurised section of a 911 MW boiler with peripheral boiler pipes at the GKM Mannheim 9 power plant in Germany. Another project will involve the Issuer assembling exhaust fume and air ducts for the A+B power units in Eemshaven in Holland.
According to preliminary arrangements, the period assigned for carrying out the above-mentioned tasks runs from the end of 2010 to the first quarter of 2013.
Taking the above order into account, Energomontaż-Południe S.A.'s portfolio of orders has an estimated value of approximately 674.1 million zlotys, including exports to be completed in the future worth approximately 68 million euros.
